Our role as a prenatal chiropractor is simple: support your nervous system and maintain healthy spinal and pelvic balance so your body can adapt more comfortably throughout pregnancy.
Studies show that women are able to carry and deliver their babies with more comfort when receiving chiropractic care.
Pregnancy changes everything — your posture, your center of gravity, your ligaments, and the way your nervous system adapts to daily stress. As your body grows and prepares for birth, it’s common to experience low back pain, pelvic discomfort, sciatica, rib pain, heartburn, or pubic symphysis dysfunction. However most women seek care at our office because of the desire for a better overall pregnancy, including the desire for optimal positioning, the hope for a faster labor and/or a VBAC, or just general pregnancy support.
When the spine and pelvis move well, the nervous system communicates more efficiently. That communication helps muscles, ligaments, and joints coordinate properly — often leading to improved comfort, better mobility, and greater resilience during pregnancy.
The Webster Technique & Pelvic Balance
Dr. Pam travels around the world teaching other chiropractors about the Webster Technique. As the lead instructor for the ICPA, she teaches and certifies other chiropractors how to perform it and how to care for someone throughout their pregnancy.
The Webster Technique is a specialized analysis and adjustment used during pregnancy to support pelvic balance and nervous system function.
Chiropractic does not “turn” breech babies. Instead, by reducing tension and improving alignment in the pelvis, we help create an environment that allows baby to move and position more freely.
Emerging research and clinical observation suggest that women receiving chiropractic care during pregnancy often report improved comfort and, in some studies, shorter labor times. While every pregnancy is unique, many mothers feel more prepared and supported when their nervous system and pelvis are functioning optimally.
We also work with women pursuing VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) and value collaborative, patient-centered care alongside OBs and midwives.
Dr. Stone has attained her diplomate in pediatric and prenatal care through the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (DACCP certified), is also certified in the Webster’s Technique, a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment, primarily for pregnant women. She became certified in the Webster Technique in the year 2000 and has worked on thousands of pregnant women over the years.
She is the lead instructor for the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), teaching “Perinatal Chiropractic Care with Webster Technique Certification” to chiropractors across the country.

If you are experiencing any low back pain, pubic symphysis dysfunction, or learn that your baby is breech, posterior or transverse, please consider chiropractic care. And it doesn’t end with birth – we want to care for you during the postpartum period.
Birth places significant stress on the spine and pelvis. Gentle chiropractic care during the postpartum period can support recovery, restore balance, and help mothers transition into this new season with greater comfort and stability.
Your body was designed to grow and birth a baby. Our goal is to support that design — safely, gently, and intentionally.
If you’re looking for a prenatal chiropractor, we would be honored to care for you during this important season. Please contact us with any questions or to arrange a complimentary 10-minute phone consultation.
