I look back on 2025 and realize how lucky I am to do what I love – travel and talk about chiropractic! My husband doesn’t think I’m lucky though, if he never got on an airplane again, he’d be happy, yet I love traveling and seeing new places (as well as places I’ve already been to). Most recently I traveled to London to teach, yet this year I also taught in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Interlaken (Switzerland) as well as several USA cities, including Dallas, Davenport, Rochester, Boston, St. Louis & Atlanta.
The seminar is teaching The Webster Technique to other chiropractors and discussing the importance of chiropractic care during pregnancy. And it’s not just opinion either, it’s full of the most current, evidence-informed methods of care. The seminar is constantly being updated as well!
Aside from teaching, we specialize in pregnancy care in our office. This advanced pregnancy training allows our office to serve expecting mothers with a high level of precision, safety, and understanding. When the pelvis and surrounding soft tissues are in balance, both mom and baby benefit from a more optimal environment for growth, movement, and comfort.
Pregnancy is an exciting and transformative time, but it also brings big changes to the body. As the baby grows, posture shifts, ligaments loosen, and new areas of tension can appear—sometimes suddenly. During pregnancy, the spine and pelvis adapt to make room for a developing baby. These natural changes can create imbalances that lead to discomfort, limited mobility, and added stress on the nervous system. Gentle chiropractic adjustments help keep the body aligned as it shifts, supporting both structural stability and nervous system function.
Pelvic balance is essential during pregnancy. When the pelvis is aligned and the surrounding soft tissues are functioning well, baby has more room to move and settle into an optimal position. The Webster Technique is specifically designed to support proper pelvic alignment throughout pregnancy.
While no outcome can ever be guaranteed, a balanced pelvis often supports a smoother pregnancy and may contribute to a more efficient labor process. Whether you’re planning a home birth, hospital birth, epidural, unmedicated birth, or VBAC, chiropractic care helps your body function at its best. When the spine and pelvis are aligned, the body can adapt more easily to the demands of labor and delivery.
Regular adjustments throughout pregnancy and postpartum help mothers move through each trimester with improved comfort, balance, and support. Let us know if we can help you.
