Amera started at our office in August 2023 after working at another chiropractic office for for the last three years. She started her chiropractic care in 2020 because of migraines that were affecting her everyday life. Now she is thankful chiropractic is helping her manage them without daily medication. Amera is originally from Asheville, North Carolina and moved to the big city four years ago. She loves dogs, horseback riding and the beach. She is usually the one answering the phone and text messages, and helping you with scheduling appointments, holding babies & so much more.
Kenzie is currently pursuing a second degree at Kennesaw State University in Orthopedics and Spinal Care. Her educational background includes graduating from KSU in 2021 with a B.S. in Integrative Studies and a minor in Psychology. Currently, she is furthering her education by working towards a Nursing degree. Kenzie’s journey with our office began at the front desk, where she worked with us for three years. After graduating from KSU in 2021, she explored various healthcare career opportunities but ultimately discovered her passion for Orthopedics and Spine specialty. Now, she has returned to our office as an Exam Tech, aiming to deepen her understanding of holistic spinal care in preparation for her future patients. In her free time, Kenzie enjoys relaxing with her two cats, Sylvie and Stevie, as well as playing video games and practicing yoga.
Kahlil has dedicated her life to health and wellness and brings her vast knowledge to our team and patients. For the last 20 years she has worked as a Physical Therapy tech helping patients recover from injuries and life’s aches and pains. She is a yoga & water aerobics instructor, does personal training, and always finds the time to make health and fitness a priority, and helps others achieve their fitness goals. Kahlil resides in Dallas, Georgia and enjoys traveling to Florida and Alabama to spend time with her grown daughters and her beautiful granddaughter. She also enjoys women’s fellowship groups, movies and shopping!
Ashley is an elementary school teacher and has taught third, fourth, and fifth grades over the last several years. Teaching is an incredibly demanding profession, and in her journey to improve her overall quality of life, Ashley started researching the benefits of chiropractic care. She has been coming regularly to the office since the summer of 2022 and is excited to now be joining the team by working on Saturdays during the school year. She recently got married in the fall of 2022 and lives in Marietta with her husband Matthew and their two dogs Mortimer and Emma.
Tara Thompson is a licensed massage therapist, birth doula and childbirth educator. She is dedicated to helping her clients achieve the birth of their dreams using calming comfort measures, education and evidence-based practices. She works at our office several days a month, and at the Pregnancy Massage Center other days.
Deb Jackson is a licensed massage therapist and is currently seeing her own clients in office space at our office, so you would schedule directly through her. Learn more about her at her website https://www.integratedbodywrx.com/
Loka is our office dog, a Golden Retriever puppy. She’s a bundle of joy and comes to the office every day. She loves walking around saying hello to people, running in the backyard, or sleeping behind the front desk. If people are scared of dogs, she stays behind the front desk area. Otherwise, she’ll be happy to bring you a toy or roll over for belly rubs.
We are sad to post that our amazing office dog Kalo crossed “the rainbow bridge” in February 2021, after 13 amazing years in this world. She was a huge part of our office, as she was there almost everyday, playing with patients in the backyard, demanding belly rubs and hand shakes, and fetching the ball non-stop. She left this world peacefully on her own decision. While we are heartbroken because of her passing, we know she made a positive impact on all the patients she came in contact with.
