Kenzie Tapley has been with us for two years, and helps greets patients, schedules appointments, plays with little kids & so much more. Kenzie is a student at Kennesaw State University where she is currently studying Elementary Education. She enjoys traveling and has been to Italy and Scotland with her university. Kenzie also loves to play music and spend time with family and friends. She recently appeared in the musical “Matilda”. She has been an avid fan of chiropractic care for many years and has recently been learning more about holistic health. After seeing the difference these practices have made in her own health, she is eager to be part of each patient’s journey to a healthier, happier lifestyle.
Bailey Bishop is from Frankfort, Kentucky and a December 2019 graduate of Murray State University in Murray, KY. She earned a degree in animal science with a minor in organizational communication. Bailey moved to Kennesaw at the beginning of the year to start post-grad life with her boyfriend and their cat, Irma. She has plans to attend the doctor of chiropractic degree program at Parker University in the next couple of years. In the meantime she is excited to be at ALC to serve this community and to learn and observe the best chiropractic care of humans and animals. During her free time she enjoys exploring national parks, cooking, and traveling.
Paola Nieves is one of our student interns from Life University. She moved from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Atlanta, Georgia to study in the Doctor of Chiropractic program, and loves working with babies and kids. She is currently working on her pediatric certification from the ICPA. Paola first experienced chiropractic when seeking help with her scoliosis and frequent headaches. After experiencing incredible improvement of her health, she decided she would become a chiropractor and make a difference in people’s lives and their health. She is especially interested in the impact of chiropractic care in pregnancy and early childhood. She enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Ollie and Ruu, loves cooking and baking and is working on her gardening skills.
Christina Schmidt is one of our current Life University chiropractic interns. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. In 2014, she transferred to Life Univ. to complete her Bachelor’s degree in biology, and joined the Life University’s inaugural womens’ collegiate wrestling team. After retiring from the sport for 5 years, she was able to achieve two-time US Open Senior All-American status with the help of regular chiropractic care during her training. It was this experience that ultimately helped her to understand the important role that chiropractic serves in optimal performance and function of the body, influencing her to pursue a career as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Currently, she is pursuing AVCA and ICPA certification in addition to finishing her chiropractic degree this year. In her free time, she enjoys spending time and exploring the outdoors with her husband and four dogs – Zeke, Aero, Nala and Iris.
