Accupuncture
Recently I paid a visit to an Accunpuncturist, a man in Smyrna who was recommended to me by a patient. I had seen someone before, but it had been six years or so, but this was a different guy. He was Oriental, trained in China, and had a very nice office that was more or less hidden away in a nice new building in the city. It was a very positive experience and I’m sure I will be headed back there in another few months. If you want to know more about it, please ask me.
Accupuncture & Chiropractic — two “alternative” treatments that are more mainstream than ever before. Both work to correct imbalances in the body — whether its meridians or nervous system stresses. To me its only logical to go after the cause of the problem instead of dealing with just symptoms. It’s safer, more logical, and actually saves you money in the long run. Many times it is not covered by insurance, but what insurance company do you know that actually covers things that are good for you? Insurance doesn’t pay for health club memberships, or supplements, or bottled water. They only cover drugs & surgery, and sometimes the “alternative” stuff.
So the next time you are wondering if you should visit a Chiropractor, or an Accupuncturist, don’t ask about insurance. Insurance is a business, and they make money by collecting premiums and not paying out. Take your health into your own hands, be proactive & make healthy decisions. It’s the smart way to go.
