“I tried chiropractic, it didn’t work.” Have you heard that before? I have. It’s that person who went once and didn’t like it (not all chiropractors are the same, so try a different one); or they didn’t feel better after the adjustment (sometimes it takes a few visits to at the very least feel better); or their breech baby didn’t turn vertex (no we are NOT turning babies, but were they coming in 3x a week like they should be?); or whatever it may be. There are different styles, different techniques, and most importantly, different recommendations/suggestions that a chiropractor may give someone. If those recommendations are not followed, will the person get the results they want?
I would say the top reasons chiropractic may “not work”, is that the person or animal didn’t give it enough time, or they came in “too late.” If we are the last straw then it’s harder. And that is why prevention is best … get checked and adjusted for prevention, for wellness, for maintenance. It’s a much better use of your time and money.
If someone has told you that chiropractic “didn’t work” then watch this brief video & learn why, or at least questions you should ask if you are told this. There are usually two sides to every story, so try to find out why something didn’t work prior to making any judgment.
Chiropractic works and yes we do see “miracles” on a regular basis.
