How do you strengthen your immune system?
Here we are, 6-7 months into flattening the curve and the second wave is on its way….are you ready for it? In March we were told to stay inside, wash your hands, cover your mouth if you cough or sneeze, and don’t touch your face. And most people listened. And you know what? It kind of didn’t matter, because it’s not over! Ugh! I wonder if and when this will end. Or are we going to be in this situation forever? And because of this, I have questions….several of them.
For starters, why isn’t the media telling you to stop eating fast food? Why aren’t they telling you to avoid eating sugar? Why aren’t they telling you to avoid eating inflammatory foods? All of these things lead to chronic disease and obesity, which are huge risk factors for this virus. Yet most people are being quiet about that. Shush…let’s not talk about health, instead they removed those kinds of stories from You Tube, or mark them as “false” information. Because of course it’s much easier to tell people to cover your face, stay inside, stay away from others and vilify anyone who doesn’t agree with you.
But I’ve said it earlier and I’ll say it again…the best thing you can do is strengthen your immune system so if and when you come in contact with this virus, then you can deal with it better. You need to strengthen your immune system, and it needs to be done through experience & repetition. You know, like letting your kids play in the dirt, get outside, be exposed to “things” in order to strengthen their immune system. And wash hands with soap & water, don’t rely on chemically filled hand sanitizers. And if you aren’t near hot water & soap, use something natural if possible. Yes, the elderly and immune compromised individuals are more vulnerable to this virus, they should take different precautions, it’s not just about strengthening their immune system.
So, I ask, during the past 6 months, what have you done to stay healthy?
- Have you kept up with a workout routine?
- How much alcohol have you had?
- Are you getting outside at least 20-30 min a day?
- Are you eating healthy home cooked meals with plenty of vegetables?
- Are you supplementing with Vitamin D and working to change your internal chemistry for the better?
- Are you eating a lot of fast food and/or sugar?
- How much sleep are you getting?
- Are you reading books or are you just watching mindless TV or the news (that is not reporting on anything positive?)
- Are you getting adjusted?
If you are following mainstream media (which means you are probably not the person reading this blog), but according to MSM, being healthy means sanitizing everything, staying inside, avoiding people, breathing in your own air, getting vaccinated, eating processed foods & living in fear. That’s NOT health!
Health is so much more. Please, don’t live in fear. 99% of people are surviving this virus. I’m so tired of the fear that is being spread. Fear of going outside. Fear of not wearing a mask. Fear of catching something when you are just passing by or casually talking to others. People are afraid. And you know what? People are also tired of all of this. So change. Stand up. Do things to strengthen your immune system, not weaken it. Breathe fresh air every day. Get outside. Exercise daily. Get plenty of sleep. Eat well. Get adjusted. Just live. Let your kids live.
