Our little sanctuary
Recently someone told me our office was like “a sanctuary” and I took that as a huge compliment. It is great to have a place of safety these days, a place where there are no mandates & no specific requirements. People make their own choices. People are loved, encouraged, and inspired; children laugh & play; parents chat. We discuss supplements, nutrition, choices, and ways to strengthen and support your immune system. The grass in the backyard is so green & the weather is great right now, and kids are out there shooting basketballs, drawing with chalk, running around, and playing with Kalo. Fresh air and sunshine are two wonderful, natural ingredients for health.
I have been a chiropractor for more than 20 years now, and love the results that people get once they start getting adjusted but more importantly, once they continue to get adjusted. Better sleep, more mobility, more range of motion, and of course less discomfort. And then there are the “other” things like babies that are in a more optimal position due to specific Webster Technique adjustments, faster labors, babies that breast feed better, less constipation, less reflux and more. No, the adjustments don’t fix any of those things and those results don’t always happen, the adjustments are about correcting interference in the nervous system, so the body functions and heals better. And when that happens “miracles” can occur.
The best results I see are when people are consistent with their care. Just think about top level athletes, musicians, artists or actors. They are great at what they do because they are consistent, always working on their talent & perfecting what they do. They will take breaks for weeks or even a few months, but in order to get better, they work on it, day after day.
Taking care of your body is no different. You don’t just eat well for a few weeks and then go back to unhealthy eating, thinking you are going to be fine. Anyone who has ever been in great shape and then stops working out….well you know what happens. And the same with chiropractic adjustments. You work to fine tune your nervous system and constantly improve & optimize the function of it, and your body will respond. Consistency, repetition is key.
If you are looking for ways to improve or maximize your health, ask us if we can help. We offer adjustments, but also those “other” things to help heal your body. And we do it in our “sanctuary” of our office …. a place of healing, safety, health & love.
